Windows On Washington, St Louis MO | Kat & Eric

Katlyn & Eric had a beautiful spring day for their nuptials. Choosing St Louis for their celebration, the couple rented a quaint airbnb for morning prep & their first look. They had a Catholic ceremony at the gorgeous Old Cathedral . Beautiful architecture inside and out, with huge columns flanking steps at the entrance. We did family photos on those steps and a few Couple portraits. A short walk to the St Louis Arch, we took the paved walkways lined with pink blooming trees. We captured relaxed photos of the Newlyweds, here and at the church. From there the Couple arrived at the historic loft, Windows On Washington St Louis. The loft space overlooks the street below and with amazing city views.  The room was dressed in ivory linens and tall centerpieces filled with lush greenery. Simple floral stems and candlelight dressed guest’s tables.

A favorite moment of the day was Katlyn’s incredibly moving words about her dad, who had recently passed.

The couple also chose not to have a large wedding party.  They had a best man and maid of honor, during the ceremony. And a large group of their friends joined them for quick photos right before the reception. I love the fact that they made their day THEIR day with traditions of their own.
