with wedding season in full ‘bloom’ … i have been neglecting another part of this business i love! showcasing fabulous vendors, boutiques, and talent. i am going to try to do better with this and dedicate at least one post per week to something or someone that needs to be seen! starting tonight! i stumbled on this site and LOVE!!!!

HOT weather has been such a factor in most weddings this summer. this wedding was no exception! miss sarah was prepared for the blistering hot afternoon and suggested we stay in the hotel for most of the photos…i was happy to oblige! when we did arrive at the vineyard, the rain started and cooled the air just enough for the nuptials to be enjoyed COMFORTABLY! another fabulous wedding and mr&mrs!!

….likes willy wonka…johnny depp not gene wilder. likes weeds, bugs, flowers, her mommy and babies. terrified of sand! cant go to the beach without traumatizing this little one! such a cutie!

i tend to get a little bit of nerves when i am meeting my couple for the FIRST time on their wedding day! this time those nerves vanished the minute i walked into kristens suite. such a beautiful girl ..inside and out. and the day just kept getting better! VERA WANG gowns chosen by kristens sister…who works in a bridal boutique in chicago. the bridal party gowns were beautiful and my fav part of those gowns…pockets!! love!
kristins gown …exquisite. the unique bow and lace capelet and the movement of the gown was striking. her handsome and kind husband that was moved to tears when he saw his bride. the overwhelming connection between the entire bridal party and their couple was inspiring. the lovely nuptial mass at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH with the ever so funny and wonderful Monsignor Watson. the beautiful, slightly vintage southern details for the reception, held at the HOTEL PERE MARQUETTE. bruce springsteen. i could go on and on …. but i would rather show you!
kristen and mike … we had a wonderful day and evening with you and your family and friends! thank you for inviting us to be a part of it! i wish you all the happiness married life has to offer!

one of the hottest days of the season to date…this couples wedding was at wildlife prairie park, outdoors, the guests were in under shade from surrounding trees but as you will soon see, the couple stood in full sunlight for most of the ceremony! how they kept from dehydration and heat exhaustion is a tribute to their love for each other!
