this is my favorite session with my couples! the engagement session is not meant to show you sitting in front of the camera saying ‘cheese’ for a picture in your local newspaper! its an opportunity to document an exhilarating time in your life and to show who you are as a couple.
i strive to show the connection between my subjects, the excitement of being together and being engaged and all the intimacy involved. but i also tell my couples to have fun with it … dont stress about being in front of a camera, rather relish the fact that you have chosen to show your connection through images. this is your time to shine AND in a stress free environment! no guests waiting to see mr. and mrs., no timelines … just the two of you and a slightly a.d.d., grown woman with a camera! with all that ‘connection’ shown on my site, i wanted to share another side of the engaged session … the side that shows the FUN! another connection … laughter!!

i am tickled purple!!! WE are a featured spotlight in the magazine! actually we are AND my gorgeous recently married couple, Doug & Abbey Wester. we also have several images throughout the book…very exciting!

our new look for 2010 and something else

12.29.09 | engaged, wedding

our new site … blog and website combined, needed a bit of dressing up. we worked with coding genius, BLOGS FOR PHOTOGS, for the first version and she graciously accepted our request for the ‘dressing up’ and now we have this finished product. we love it and although the creative side of us is always thinking about new ideas and new looks, we plan to stick with this for awhile. or at least until 2011!! thank you AGAIN theresa!
