the day continued with the reception at laura & mikes place in their barn/morton building. they have the most beautiful settings…lakes and fields surrounding their home. as you saw in the previous post, their getaway car was a golf cart and they also shuttled their guests from parking to the reception site the same way. we spent close to 2 hours walking their land and shooting photos of the 2 of them…
that may sound like too much time spent on photos, but photos are THAT important to the couple. beyond that, this gave them time to really relax and enjoy each other as husband & wife, on their wedding day. the rest of the evening was emotional and fun and beautiful…a special touch were the Wish Lanterns. EVERY guest took part in this festivity and the ooos and ahhs were overwhelming. it was a very beautiful experience. and my favorite part of their day…the ENTIRE day. it was a very personal and heart felt celebration that i will never forget. laura & mike…i adore you beyond words…you truly are a very special pair and it was an honor being there with you on your day!
