my beautiful kids

i hope that everyone visiting this blog had a blessed Christmas and will have a safe new year celebration.

we always try to do a kids session with my seth and heather, whenever heather is home. we ran across town yesterday to an abandoned road and shot over 200 images!!! heather is always hard to get serious shots of, because her personality is pretty much goofball most of the time! she did however turn it on for abouuuuut 10 minutes…..and then back to GOOFBALL!! i do love that about her, i have to admit! and the little man is quite the opposite. he is all ‘gq’ and posey serious when it comes to the lens. we had to really coax him to get silly for a few and even then he was resistant. i absolutely love the end results!! i hear LARGE canvas prints calling my name on several of these! maybe a collage of all of these on a 24×36 or 40×60….ooooooo!!!! i am so excited!!

Luke 2: 1 – 14
1 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled.
2 This was the first enrollment, when Quirin’i-us was governor of Syria.
3 And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,
5 to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.
6 And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered.
7 And she gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
8 And in that region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear.
10 And the angel said to them, “Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people;
11 for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

ANGELA AND JOSH 12.13.2008

WOW!!!!! this wedding was a dream for me to cover! it was 30 something degrees outside with craaaazy winds that made it feel like 2 degrees, but angela and her groom and party STILL wanted to shoot outside!!! again, it was CRAAAAZY cold and windy but angela was determined to have all of the photos she had dreamt about at the different locations they had chosen. of course i was happy to oblige her…after all i was dressed warmer than any of the girls and they were TOUGH!!!
by the time we were done with the couple session angelas hands were so red i thought she might have frost bite.she never complained once! she was just enjoying the time with her new husband and working the camera!!
